Police Clearance Certificate
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for Indian Passport holders in respect of their stay in Uzbekistan can be obtained from:
- Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in New Delhi (if the applicant is located in India), or
- Consular Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent (if the applicant is located in Uzbekistan),
upon payment of the required fees.
Procedure for Indian Passport Holders in Uzbekistan:
- Visit portal5.passportindia.gov.in and register yourself.
- Apply for the Police Clearance Certificate.
- Fill up the online form.
- Print the filled form and prepare all required documents.

E-Visa stands restored to the nationals of Uzbekistan in all five sub-categories:
E-tourist Visa, E-business Visa, E-medical Visa, E-medical attendant Visa, and
E-conference Visa. Entry is permitted through 28 designated international
airports and 5 major seaports, as available to nationals of other countries under the e-Visa regime.

- Register application on the authorized portal: indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
- Select e-Visa category and fill the application.
- Pay e-Visa fee online using Credit/Debit Card or Payment Wallet.
- Receive Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email.
- Fly to India and present printed ETA at Immigration Check Post for stamping on passport.

Additional Information
- All 5 e-Visa categories are clubbable except for e-Conference Visa (only clubbed with e-Tourist Visa).
- Apply at least 4 days in advance of travel for e-Tourist and e-Business visas.
- For other categories, apply 4 to 120 days before travel.
- Sample application form is available on the e-Visa homepage.
- Upload recent photo and passport bio page (mandatory).
- Visa fee is country-specific. A 2.5% bank charge is applicable.
- Fees are non-refundable regardless of grant/rejection of ETA.
- Carry ETA printout during travel. Ensure your ETA status is ‘GRANTED’.
- Biometrics will be captured at arrival in India.
- e-Visa is not valid for restricted/cantonment areas without clearance.
- Allow up to 2 hours for payment status update before retrying.
- Travelers from Yellow Fever countries must carry a vaccination card.
- Travel with the same passport used for applying. If changed, carry both old and new passports.
Note: Documents such as invitation letters must be in English. The process takes 10–15 minutes.

Marriage Registration
Solemnization/Registration of Marriage under the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969
Conditions:
- At least one of the prospective bride or bridegroom must be an Indian national and a legal resident of Uzbekistan.
- The non-Indian partner must submit a No Objection Certificate/Singleness Certificate from the concerned authority, or an affidavit declaring their marital status and willingness to marry an Indian national, duly attested by the concerned authority.
How to Apply:
This service is available only in person at the Embassy. The bride and bridegroom, along with three witnesses (Indian nationals with valid visa status), must be physically present to sign before the Consular Officer.
For Solemnization of Marriage
- All scanned documents should be submitted via email to cons.tashkent@mea.gov.in.
- A notice of intended marriage will be displayed on the Embassy notice board for one month.
- An in-person appointment will be scheduled in consultation with the Marriage Officer after the notice period.
Registration of Marriages under Section 17 of the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969 (Already solemnized in Uzbekistan)
- Email your request along with scanned copies of all required documents to cons.tashkent@mea.gov.in.
- An appointment date will be communicated accordingly.

Solemnization of Marriage:
- Completed Miscellaneous Services application form with one passport-size photo affixed.
- Original passports of the bride, bridegroom, and three witnesses + 1 photocopy (first & last pages).
- Copy of proof of address (utility bill, driver’s license, or lease agreement) of all five individuals.
- Copy of valid visa or Permanent Residency Card of all five individuals.
- Notice of Intended Marriage (4 copies): Form-I
- Advertisement of Intended Marriage: Format & Instructions
- Declaration by prospective bride and bridegroom in duplicate: Form-II
- Sworn affidavit by prospective bride and bridegroom in duplicate.
- Four recent, identical passport-size photographs each of the bride and bridegroom.
- Fee: US$ 50.00 + US$ 2.00 towards ICWF. Payable at the Embassy of India, Tashkent.
Note: Marriage must be solemnized within six months from the date the notice of intended marriage is presented to the Marriage Officer. If not, the entire procedure must be repeated if the parties still wish to proceed.
