Participate in the 85th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP)

KIP is an engagement programme for Diaspora youth (between the age of 21–35 years) of Indian origin to introduce them to India and promote awareness about different facets of Indian life, our cultural heritage, art and various aspects of contemporary India. This programme is open to youth of Indian origin (excluding Non-Resident Indians) and has been in existence since 2003–04.

The upcoming 85th edition of the KIP is projected to be special and unique since this Ministry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has scheduled participation of partakers of this edition in the upcoming Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD), coinciding with the National Youth Festival on January 12, 2026.

All applications must be sent to cons.tashkent@mea.gov.in before December 5th, 2025.

Migration from Global Passport Seva Version 1.0 to the Global Passport Seva Version 2.0.

Attention!

Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India is planning to migrate from Global Passport Seva Version 1.0 to the Global Passport Seva Version 2.0.

In this regard, it is hereby advised that with effect from 1st September 2025, all passport applicants must:

  1. Upload an ICAO-compliant photograph (mandatory), or share a soft copy with Mission/OSP.
  2. Upload a scanned copy of their signature.
  3. Upload all other relevant documents on their own.

The date of migration to the new portal will be on  3rd September 2025.
